Oxford Street is a major artery in Sydney, Australia, running from the central business district in the south-east corner of Hyde Park (Whitlam Square) to the Eastern Suburbs (Bondi Junction). The street hosts plentiful of shops, bars and nightclubs. In March each year Oxford Street is closed to traffic due to the world famous "Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras".
