Venice Boulevard is strictly speaking a state highway (State Route 187) in southern California, although it is usually referred to as "Venice Boulevard". It connects the cities of Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and Culver City, starting at Lincoln Boulevard in Venice. Venice Boulevard is notable because it constitutes the border between the central portion of Los Angeles and South Los Angeles, and passes by Venice, Mar Vista, Palms, Culver City, and South Los Angeles.
