Length: 151 mi. Virginia State Route 3 (SR-3) is a highway in the state of Virginia that begins in Culpeper, and ends in Gloucester. The road stretches across the counties of Culpeper, Orange, Spotsylvania, City of Fredericksburg, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, Richmond, Lancaster, Rappahannock River, Middlesex, Piankatank River, Mathews, and Gloucester. It was inaugurated in 1933.
