Length: 272.7 mi. Direction: west-east. Texas State Highway 21 (SH-21) is a highway in the eastern and central part of Texas that begins in San Marcos, and ends close to Milam. The road stretches across the counties of Hays, Caldwell, Bastrop, Lee, Burleson, Brazos, Madison, Houston, Cherokee, Nacogdoches, San Augustine, and Sabine. It was opened in 1917.
