Length: 476.4 mi. Direction: south-north. Texas State Highway 6 (SH-6) is a highway in the state of Texas that begins in La Marque, and ends near Quanah. The road passes through the counties of Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Harris, Waller, Grimes, Brazos, Robertson, Falls, McLennan, Bosque, Hamilton, Erath, Comanche, Eastland, Callahan, Shackelford, Jones, Haskell, Knox, Foard, and Hardeman. The route, designated as Texas Korean War Veterans Memorial Highway since 1997, was inaugurated in 1939.
