Length: 156.15 mi. Direction: west-east. New York State Route 23 (NY 23) is a highway in the eastern part of New York that begins in Cincinnatus, and ends in the Berkshire Mountains at the Massachusetts state line. The road stretches across the counties of Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, Delaware, Schoharie, Greene, and Columbia. It was inaugurated in 1924.
