Interstate 79 (I-79) is a highway in the eastern United States, that runs for 343 miles across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The stretch in the state of West Virginia has a length of 161 miles and begins northeast of Charleston. The route is also known by the name of Jennings Randolph Expressway. The road crosses the counties of Kanawha, Roane, Clay, Braxton, Gilmer, Lewis, Harrison, Marion, and Monongalia.
