Interstate 95 (I-95) is the main highway running for almost 2000 miles across the east coast of the United States. The stretch in the state of Virginia has a length of 179 miles and crosses 17 counties going from the Maryland state line to the border with North Carolina. The highway begins near Weldon, North Carolina, and ends near Washington, DC. It opened in 1957.
