Interstate 65 (I-65) is a major south-north highway in the eastern part of the United States running from Alabama to Indiana, through Tennessee and Kentucky. The stretch of the route in Tennessee runs for 122 miles from Kentucky to the Alabama state line, through Nashville. I-65 crosses the counties of Giles, Marshall, Maury, Williamson, Davidson, Sumner, and Robertson. The route, opened in 1958, is officially named Albert Arnold Gore Sr. Memorial Highway.
