Interstate 90 (I-90) is the longest transcontinental highway in the United States. The stretch in the state of South Dakota has a length of 413 miles and runs in an east-west direction in the southern part of the state. It begins near Spearfish, and ends near Valley Springs. The road crosses the counties of Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Jackson, Jones, Lyman, Brule, Aurora, Davison, Hanson, McCook, and Minnehaha.
