Interstate 95 (I-95) is the main highway running for almost 2000 miles across the east coast of the United States. The stretch in the state of Rhode Island has a length of 43.3 miles and crosses the counties of Washington, Kent, and Providence. The highway begins near North Stonington, and ends in Attleboro. It opened in 1957.
