Interstate 95 (I-95) is the main highway running for almost 2000 miles across the east coast of the United States. The stretch in the state of North Carolina has a length of 181.71 miles and crosses the counties of Robeson, Cumberland, Harnett, Johnston, Wilson, Nash, Halifax, and Northampton. The highway begins near Rowland, and ends in Roanoke Rapids. It opened in 1958.
