Interstate 74 (I-74) is a main highway in the midwestern and southeastern parts of the United States running for 429 miles. The stretch in the state of North Carolina has a length of 122 miles and crosses the counties of Surry, Forsyth, Guilford, Randolph, Montgomery, Scotland, and Robeson. It opened in 1997.
