Interstate 86 (I-86) is a highway divided into two segments running for 207 miles across the states of Pennsylvania and New York. The stretch in New York is located in the southern part of the state and has a length of 199.86 miles. The highway, opened in 1999, crosses the counties of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Chemung, and Broome.
