Interstate 10 (I-10) is a transcontinental east-west highway in the southern part of the United States, stretching from Santa Monica, California to Jacksonville, Florida. In the state of New Mexico it runs for 164.264 miles in the southern part of the state through the counties of Hidalgo, Grant, Luna, and Doña Ana. The highway, opened in 1957, begins at the Arizona state line and ends close to Las Cruces.
