Interstate 70 (I-70) is a major highway in the United States that runs for 2,150 miles from Utah to Baltimore. The stretch in the state of Missouri runs for 250 miles from the Lewis and Clark Viaduct at the Kansas state line to St. Louis near the Illinois state line. The highway passes through the counties of Jackson, Lafayette, Saline, Cooper, Boone, Callaway, Montgomery, Warren, St. Charles, St. Louis, City of St. Louis, and St. Clair. It was opened in 1956.
