Eaton, Ohio had a lumpy start with 12% of residents catching cholera in 1848. Ten years later, 13 of its business burned down following an incendiary fire that stained the courthouse brown. We are not saying someone had curry and released a rasper, but then you never know what can happen in Ohio when folk let their guard down.

The Poos were one of Eaton’s founding families, although we are not sure what they dug their heels into while they were living. Beyond that, we can only speculate that Poos Road is a country lane where dogs do what dogs do. If you investigate, we recommend you tread lightly. There may be more than a few Poos beneath your feet.
