The market town of Raunds in Northamptonshire in England has an annual beer festival, a working man’s club, a temperance band (they probably need one) and a music and drama society (called MADS for short) to add a touch of class.

Despite all these efforts and no matter how hard they try, their visitors are more likely to gather in Titty-Ho Street for a giggle. The word “ho” is slang for a lady of the night so in times gone past perhaps the lads from the working man’s club used to call out “titty ho” when one popped up at the top of her dress.
