We are dumbfounded by this Washington DC zoo sign. What are visitors supposed to do if a trumpeting elephant starts trashing the snack bar, or a lion takes out his knife and fork and begins polishing them with his handkerchief?

Must the kids shelter under an umbrella with granny? What happens if the sun is shining and she did not bring one? We are law-abiding citizens but there must be exceptions. At the very least, they should hand out snacks before the lions take out the salt and pepper.
