Puke is a village in north Albania pronounced pooka although the locals like to spell this Pukë or Puka depending on how they feel in the morning after a night possibly indulging on one too many glasses of Puke Beer. The town name comes from a Roman road named Via Publica, and was once on an ancient trade route for merchants of the traditional kind.

If you visit, about your only entertainment – unless you are interested in ancient buildings destroyed by barbarian hooligans – would be to join the KS Tërbuni Pukë Football Club and ask them to let you throw up a coin to see who gets to play the ball first. After that, you could visit the micro-brewery and chat the whole night long over whatever took your fancy.
