The Tokyo subway agency has had complaints about passengers hopping down the tracks because this slows down trains and causes commuter riots. Their solution is ingenious. They put tin fishes (usually koi and carp) at the bottom of the platform edges, so their customers can play the ancient Japanese game of “pick up fish” while they wait for trains. Here a friendly train conductor has asked his train to wait few moments, while he helps a schoolgirl win an important competition.
